I am Charles Wilson, a former journalist and resident of the Pacific Northwest. I am independent, having no ties to any of the people, agencies, groups, or media outlets involved in the tragic events of late November and early December of 2006. Like others in the region and around the country, I became captivated by the drama that unfolded in southwest Oregon in late 2006, and was saddened by the loss of life there. This website represents my effort to chronicle those events, and ultimately to see something constructive emerge from the death of one man and the discussion it has inspired.
